In 1990, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s (RWJF) Fighting Back
program funded 15 communities (between 100,000 to 250,000 residents)
in 11 states to combat illicit drug and alcohol-related problems. The
Fighting Back project officially ended in 2002. This website is an
archive of resources and information about the Fighting Back program.
