Fighting Back Criminal Justice/Treatment Partnership Conference: April 2001
In April 2001, teams of treatment professionals, criminal justice professionals and ex-addict/offenders from 10 communities across the country convened with technical advisors at the Madison Hotel in Washington, D.C. Over 8 sessions, they discussed the successes, failures, challenges and issues that they faced in implementing a successful partnership between the treatment and criminal justice systems, with a particular focus on community correctional settings - probation, pre-release and parole.
